Why I am no longer using MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid……
….at the moment.
Obviously, there is a big divide in the makeup community about SFF and its greatness. I, for one, have always been a big fan of it. It gives me excellent coverage and matches my skin tone perfectly. With that said, there are all of these people who hate it, mainly because they say it is bad for your skin.
While I have never had a full on breakout from the product, I do have persistent blackheads, and I recently occurred to me that maybe my choice of foundation is the reason.
So, I decided to try a new foundation routine to see if my skin cleared up a bit. From the pile or foundations that I currently own, I chose to use my Napoleon Perdis stick foundation in Look 7. Surprisingly, I have come to really love it! It has excellent coverage, a fantastic texture, and the color is pretty amazing.
Whether the ingredents are actually better for my face than the Studio Fix Fluid is still unknown to me. Have to do a bit more research on that.
But until then, I just wanted to let you guys know what I was using and why, since I have received a few inquiries.
