Who’s excited about MAC’s Style Black Collection?
I am! I don’t know why, but I think the whole concept is HOT!
I got bored at work today and totally rocked a black lip. My coworkers looked at me like I was crazy, but I thought it was hot. Dark lips and dark eyes are totally going to be in for Fall and I can’t wait to see if anyone is BOLD enough to actually wear it. I’m pretty comfortable wearing it at work (even though I may scare some customers, lol), but I will have to work up a little courage to wear it outside. Today, I just put black eyeliner on my lips with black eyeshadow and put a clear gloss on top. I already have the OCC liptar in Tarred (black) but I think a black lip would look good in matte.
I haven’t actually been excited about a MAC collection in a while, so I can’t wait to see this in person next week. These are the things I’m thinking of purchasing:
-Midnight Media Mattene (dense black lipstick)
-Night Violet Mattene (maybe)
-Intense Black Grease Paintstick (eyeshadow base)
-Bat Black Cream Color Base
I’m not really interested in the shadows because they seem too glittery and I have similar colors. I have heard raves about the Volcanic Ash exfoliator, so maybe I will check that out, but still not sure.
It comes out next week, September 24, 2009.
