My Foundation Matches, Trust Me.
I actually find it kind of annoying that I have to create this post, because I already addressed the color issue in my video, but it doesn’t seem to matter to some people. First, my lighting at my makeup station is off. It makes me appear a little more red than I actually am. Here is what you see most of the time:
Using the same camera, but moving to another room with more natural lighting, this is my true color:

This is the same makeup that I was wearing in the video. My face clearly matches my neck and chest (and there is no makeup blended onto my neck or chest at all). Also, like I said in the video, my foundation needs time to settle. I have very oily skin, so once my natural oils interact with my foundation, it changes color and matches me just fine. This is about 15-20 mins after application, whereas the video is about 5 minutes after application.
I have to reason to wear a foundation that doesn’t match me and then try to convince you guys that it does. So, if you see anyone question my foundation color in a video, it would be awesome if you could refer this to this blog post. Thanks!
